Kristen Anne Bell was born in the year 1980. She is an American singer and actress. She is an Michigan native who was born and was raised by her parents Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). Kristen is from Polish heritage (mother) as well as German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen found her talent in entertainment as a young age. In 1992 she won her first part in an audition for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell's mother introduced her to an agent when she was thirteen, and she was subsequently cast in newspaper advertisements and television commercials. In addition to having private lessons, she began her acting career in the year 2000. Bell made an appearance in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School where she took part in musical and drama club. When her school staged a show of The Wizard of Oz, Bell won the role of Dorothy. Bell went to the Tisch School of the Arts which she attended to study Musical Theater within New York City. Bell completed her studies in 2001, decided to leave her college studies in order to take on her role as Becky in Tom Sawyer. That same year, she was in Pootie Tang However, the scene where she played the role was removed. As a result, only her credit sequence exists. Bell appeared in Broadway in The Crucible, a revival with Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
